Hey Guys,
Just a quick note to mention a new(to me) piece of software I just
found. It's called VirtualBox and it's a VMware/Parallels type product
from Sun, Only thing is, it's free. They just released a new version
of it right before the Holiday (ver 2.1).

it's pretty stable most of the features work very well ( I am using it
to run VM's of Linux/Unix distros on my MAC). I was able to configure
multiple installs of Linux to run simultaneously in one session. At
one point I had 3 VM's running on a Mac Book Pro with 2 gigs of RAM
with no slowness noticeable. Here's the link if your interested http://www.sun.com/software/products/virtualbox/index.jsp

It will run on anything that is capable of running JRE. Like I said I
am using it on my Mac but they have Linux, Unix and Windows installs
available. I have even seen a .deb installer for Ubuntu/Debian.

it's worth checking out, especially for the price.

Cya,
