My workstation is running Ubuntu Hardy Heron. I tried using ffmpeg to convert a video for my ipod nano. It didn't work. After checking this and messing with that I figured out it's missing codecs.
It looks like I need to compile ffmpeg from source. Is anyone else running into this problem?
