I've always been pretty much a believer in the "Golden Rule". As in, "He
who has the gold, makes the rules.".

I guess if you want them to keep paying you, you need to set up a mail
server.

I'll have to admit I've always wanted to have my own box on the internet
somewhere as well. I know I don't need one, I just want one. I've found
DSL to be a less than practical solution, at least any of the DSL
solutions we have available up here. Nobody around here really seems to
be set up for co-loing boxes and I just don't seem to trust my own
abilities enough to send a box out of state. I worry that I would break
the box to the point it would need a hands on re-build ... Then what?

I think both GoDaddy and DynDns have back-up email solutions as well as
some of the others I've seen mentioned.
