Could be!!

According to RedHat, Virgin has been using Fedora and jBoss since FC2
and are currently migrating from Fedora to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.

In this article, the author talks of crashing his in-flight display,

http://blog.wired.com/gadgets/2007/08/virgin-america-.html

"It's running Red Hat Linux! Tux the Penguin pops up during a reboot
after I crashed my inflight display. My crash didn't affect anyone
else's console. In other respects, the fact that the system is running
Linux is pretty much invisible to users. (There's no command-line
access, sorry.)"
