G4L question.

For those of you that have used g4l, can anyone explain why it would
take almost twice as long to restore the image as it did to create it?

Although it's not yet complete, when attempting to restore the just
backed up image to the machine, it was going about half the MB/sec that
it did when creating the backup.

Nothing was changed...in fact, I just issued the restore when the
backup was finished.

Interesting...
