There may also be some devil in the details.

If they are looking at RHEL4 as a whole, including all of the applications
that come with the OS as part of the os for bugs reported and fixed, or not
then RHEL certainly would have more reported bugs. Aslo may Linux
applications fix the bugs with a new minor release vs. a patch against the
existing release. Again you could count the new releases as not fixing the
old release.

Reminds me of an old quote.... 43% of all statistics are useless.
