Always ready with a suggestions :-) Debian puts everything on their web
site for all to see. There is a lot and it can be confusing. Learning to
navigate Debians web site, esp. the developers corner, link on main page,
is a must. The devel corner has all the doc's and manuals, which you
read before asking questions on the many mail lists. I would be careful
using un-official Debian 'stuff' esp. packages

Aklug has knowledgable and friendly Debian users.
