The acoustics are rather poor in the north portion of our "canyon".
Where things open out at the south end, speakers do much better.
That leaves us room for at least two operations, simultaneously.
It means the student thin-client area need not be shut down, and
trainees or beginners can can have their choice. The SW hallway "lounge"
space is used by student group gatherings who need more isolation.
We had a couple rather enthusiastic newbies walk out part way through
that last wonderful security talk. They were totally lost, but would
have survived in the equipment zone had we moved the lectern south a ways.
A successful three-ring circus might be a stretch, but there is plenty
of space for the small crowds we rate.
