Summary:

I need to briefly borrow a viable battery for a Dell Inspiron 3800.

Details:

I inherited the laptop without a battery. The flash utility insists
that both the AC power *and* the battery be present to flash the BIOS.

There have been enough high-profile fixes in the BIOS that I think
that it's worth the trouble. I don't generally need a battery (though
having one would be nice, if it was cheap enough, but it ain't worth
$120).

Compatible batteries travels under Dell part numbers 53977, 1691P,
5081P, 3149C, 75UYF, 66WHR, 312-0115, 312-3280, 312-0028 and a number
of others. They generally look like this:

Anybody have one knocking around that they could bring to a Friday?

Royce
