Wasting everyone's time just because we "settled" on a date helps no one.
Turn-out during the summer months is minimal as it is, not giving interested
users any reasonable advanced notice is going to make it that much worse.
I agree with Greg. If we're going to do this and not sit around twiddling
our thumbs we need, at minimum, *weeks*, preferrably a month, to get the
word out.
