In tandem with my previous post on GnuPG methods for webmail I have found that
mailing lists like to reformat my text if it wraps past a certain point. OK so
now I need an external editor method for TEXTAREA fields.

Groovy.. now gedit is handling text areas for me, you can make it use any editor
as well as remember which extension to use based on the site you are currently
on. This helps for text editors that expect a file name in order to properly
edit a file with syntax highlighting.

Why gedit? Because seahorse has a gedit plugin that it can use to perform
GnuPG tasks as well :)
