Re: nvidia problems

I just installed the beta 0-9626 nvidia drivers. This time around I
noticed two GPU's. I did some double checking and it turns out that
Linux or the nvidia driver is seeing both cards.

I've got a 6100 nvidia card on the motherboard. I also have a NX7600GT
in the pcie slot. According to the Xorg.0.log and the "nvidia-settings"
tool both cards are using the same IRQ. I can't say for sure if they are
running at the same time.

The only thing I know for sure is that the NX7600GT is still not working.

I sent out another message to the nvidia forum. I'm hoping someone has a
fix for this. If there isn't a fix the next step is to look for
different hardware. I don't like that option but I may not have a choice.

The joy's of trouble shooting hardware problems. I need a good strong
drink.
