If you install libdvdread3, it generates a script call install-css.sh,
which can be used to fetch build, and install the dvdcss debian file.

Direct file location:
/usr/share/doc/libdvdread3/examples/install-css.sh

Fetch xine-ui and the other xine stuff, andyou've got yourself a DVD
player. The only bummer (if you're 64bit) is that the win32codecs
package doesn't exist, so you are SOL for any of the newer wmv formats.

I use xine to view just about all movie formats (unless it simply
doesn't work for codec reasons.)
