RE: Postfix

I'm completely stuck, according to everything I have read this should work.
I looked up how to set up a smart relay and it said all i have to do is set
"relayhost" in "main.cf" to use my isp's mail server. So I set it up to
"relayhost mail.charter.com" and now this is what I get in my logs every
time I send a message:

Jun 6 01:36:11 server01 postfix/pickup[3224]: 9EC24FC9A1: uid=0 from=<root>
Jun 6 01:36:11 server01 postfix/cleanup[3236]: 9EC24FC9A1:
message-id=<20060606053611.9EC24FC9A1@mail.bcthund.net>
Jun 6 01:36:11 server01 postfix/qmgr[3225]: 9EC24FC9A1:
from=<root@bcthund.net>, size=303, nrcpt=1 (queue active)
Jun 6 01:36:11 server01 postfix/smtp[3228]: 9EC24FC9A1:
to=<thundereagle@hotmail.com>, relay=mail.charter.com[209.225.8.224],
delay=0, status=sent (250 ok: Message 420471347 accepted)
Jun 6 01:36:11 server01 postfix/qmgr[3225]: 9EC24FC9A1: removed

According to this everything is fine and the e-mail is on it's way. I was
kinda thinking that "mail.charter.com" was blocking the mail but I have
recieved 2 e-mail's. After 1 of the e-mails I sent another without changing
anything and it wasn't working again.

E-mails that I sent from hotmail back to my server have just recently come
back with "Delayed" status but thats all they tell me. Is it possible that
charter is blocking incoming traffic on port 25 somehow as well?

What if I used IMAPs/POP3s and SSL SMTP on port 465? Could that solve my
problem with port blocking?
