PostgreSQL is better but MySQL is good enough and is more popular with ISPs.
You can use PhpMyAdmin to load and edit your data. SQL Server is too
expensive for the web and doesn't run on Linux. Access is limited to 16
concurrent users. Oracle is overkill. I recommend MySQL for your purpose.
