I have to agree, what good is 3Mb down and 386kb up? I like watching my
VPNs stall while trying to transfer a file and I like hearing my loved
ones on my voip phone sound like they have a stuttering disorder. DSL is
a lot better but to get the speeds I want I have to pay more than I am
willing.

And ACS DSL? There service is unbearable, I believe if they actually get
someone on the Internet there is rejoicing and the singing of songs. But
you do get some perks with them for the price. Such as, calling tech
support and getting put on hold till they hang up on you. Or, my
personal favorite, being elevated to level 5 or tier 17 or whatever and
then being transfered into oblivion before being hung up on, now thats
livin'.

I have purchased a canoe and am running fiber down to the lower 48 to
connect into a friends network.
