You might ask them how their routers prioritize packets. I worked at a place
for a while that used Alaska Wireless Cable (Fairbanks). Their routers
prioritized in such a fashion that if there were just a few packets, they
might get a bit delayed. You didn't get bumped up in the list until there
was a stronger, constant, data flow. So, this was fine for web and FTP
transfers, but it made interactive sessions (ssh, or X over ssh) infuriating
since latency was ridiculous for the typing and the updates for X.
