Re: xorg font sillyness

turns out my fonts have been working all along. well, sort of.

my fonts are all visible with xlsfonts and xfontsel, but they won't show up in any gtk2 app namely gimp and firefox. i've done some research to see if i missed a library (pango, etc.) somewhere that allows gtk2 apps to use truetype fonts, but everything i need seems to be installed.

new slackware 10.2 install, gtk+-1.2.10, gtk+2-2.6.10, pango-1.8.2, x11-6.8.2, x11-devel-6.8.2. all default versions...

this is the first time i've really had any trouble like this so i might need a point in the right direction by some of the slackers on the list...
