Actually, 2.4Mbit raw, approx 2.2Mbit usable. As sub-channel allocation
is dynamic on a moment by moment basis common rates are in the 500 - 800
Kbit range.
The EVDO v.s. DSL tradeoff is latency. 100ms - 130ms is normal for EVDO
(this is ALL on the radio side, the back is all high bandwidth/low
latency).
