I just looked at the specs for the 500 gig drive. It's SATA II which
gives you 3 gig's a second. The drive I got is SATA I which is 1.5 gig's
a second. SATA I is much faster then IDE but I'll have to see what my 1U
server can do. If it can do SATA II I'll have to make sure I only get
SATA II drives.

With 15 to 20 users storing their files on the server SATA II could make
a big difference.
