I have three net cams (Panasonic KX-HCM..) on my network. I'm in the
processes of building a server that will handle the recording of these
net cams. I found a solution under the Windows platform that will
allow me to use motion detection sensors to start recording on any of
the three cams. http://www.securityideas.com/wewapro.html
I'm curious if anyone on the list may have a open source solution that
they can share with me?
Requirments:
------------------
Recording only upon motion detection (I only have 160GB drive, my
first test recording 30 minutes on two cams took up 200MB of disk
space. I can't see recording all three cams during "off hours").
Record with multiple cameras.
Recording audio may be necessary...
Sensible method to handle the catalog of video.
Any suggestions...
Thanks,
TJ
