I downloaded and burned the ISO's for Gentoo 2004.3 for AMD 64.
Minimal, Universal and Packages are the names of the files. To make
this even more scary I'm looking to make this a multiboot machine, it
currently houses WinXP, and I want to add, Linux, XP64(beta), and
Longhorn(beta). I have a copy of partition magic, but if someone can
partition this sucker using OSS I'd like to learn that process.
Everything is backed up, so it's no biggy if we hose it. Nor am I
stuck on getting it all done this evening. Alternatively I'll be
bringing a second hard drive, and we could just do the install on that
to ease any potential headache fests. See you all soon.
