Well, that's a bummer. When they made my computer for me they didn't
screw it up, exactly. It was built for me because I was enrolled in a
home-study class. The computer came with Windows 98SE, a 20 gig hard
drive, a 400mghz AMD processor, and a measly 32mgs of RAM. Needless to
say, my computer crashed constantly. I asked them why they only put 32
mgs of RAM in and they said that 98SE would run fine on it. Which it
did, as long as you don't actually *do* anything.
I wasn't too impressed with CustomCPU after that, but I did think they
had pretty good prices on hardware. I realize now (now that I know a
little bit more about computers) that thier prices aren't much better
than CompUSA.
How about Frigid North? How are their prices?
