I've got several also :-)

What I could use is, I'm looking to move the webcam over to a linux box
I just finished. Basic, bare Debian testing, with a wireless Linksys NIC
so it can sit somewhere out of the way by a window in the basement :-)
Right now I use either webcam32 or Webcam-Control-Center on XP, so the
image is captured, captioned and uploaded via FTP to my web server. I
don't rotate or archive images, either, so that's not an issue - ideally
it'll be an X app so I can VNC in and manage the box (I haven't started
looking at X forwarding over SSH yet), see the image that's online, etc.

Anyone doing this? I'd love to hear what's being used. What I've found
is command-line stuff like webcamd, or freshmeat's list of beta (and
alpha) stuff, most of which seem to want me to upgrade to unstable
(nope, not gonna happen). Most of the X-based ones seem to want to host
everything on the local PC, not upload elsewhere via FTP... :-(
