Help?

Hello,
I am trying to get my stupid Laserjet 1000 printer to work.
I found a website that explains how to get it to work but I first have to download the firmware for it.
How do I execute the following?

./getweb 1000 # Get HP LJ1000 firmware file
 
I don't have the slightest idea what this is or how it's supposed to work. Any ideas??
