There is a 'gotcha' to using Knoppix for an install if you want to run
Debian. Knoppix is a mix of Testing, Unstable & maybe even some
Expeirimental packages. This makes it hard to add packages at a latter
date. As long a person wants a fast install that just works, or a live
cd, Knoppix is fine, if you need to maintain a varied workstation or
server you will have difficulties with depends.
