I dearly miss living in Alaska as well. We moved to NY for family reasons.

It runs on a PowerEdge 500SC using Debian stable with a Mailman 2.1.4 backport
on a GCI cable modem with static IP.

Got about 15,000 subscribers.

The Iditarod Trail Committee staff is so overworked they struggle to give
me content for good mailings. You will see in the archives that the newsletters
are 50% promotional content. We will be doing daily race updates soon. Hopefully.
