The installer is the only difference I have notice aside from the
obvious program and kernel packages being more recent. So I'd say it is
the status quo for a Redhat distro. I don't use any other distros as
Redhat has always met my needs. I don't have any odd hardware
requirements nor do I typically install from anything other than RPM's
(via aptget). Hence, I don't have many library or install issues.

(PS The installer does not allow you to "select individual packages" as
previous versions did.)
