The mail server is going to be for buisness use, I am using Slackware 9.0, I have installed qmail (just as described in LWQ) and I understood everything (I think :-P), I have not gotten any errors... yet I just don't understand where to add users and how to do it properly, and since you asked I finshed up my third reading of LWQ this evening ;-).

I guess I am just lost at how to add a user to qmail so that that person can send and recieve email from my server. I guess I am having such a hard time because I have done this a hundred times with microsoft's exchange server, boo hiss. Perhaps, this is why I need it broken down into step one is and step two is because I just have a blank in my head every time I read the section in Life with qmail.

Any help would be appreciated before I really jack things up.

Hello Wesley,

Are you trying to build a mail server (MTA) for your business or
personal use ? What operating system are you using ? What have done so
far that you don't understand exactly ? What are the error messages that
tell you it's not working ? Have you re-read the LWQ again 3 times yet ?

Regards,
Dee
