Yep. Try Linux Terminal Server Project (ltsp.org?).

Unix was doing 'terminal services' (cept we called them 'hosts', and
the clients were called 'terminals') back when windows were something
that needed cleaning and microsoft was a compiler.

ltsp.org and pxes.sourceforge.net, as well as many others.

PS don't confuse 'terminal services' with 'diskless workstations'.
Method is similar, purposes are entirely different.
