Hey all,
I've got Redhat 9.0 Pro on my Pentium 4 box at home and I recently installed a
SMC networks SMC2802W 802.11g pci card on it. The card works fine on the Windows
side but there's scant *nix support. I found it's based on a Prism GT chipset. I
read about the DriverLoader program on slashdot that wraps windows wireless
drivers making them compatible with linux. I downloaded it and installed the
windows drivers with it, but says the card isn't detected. After looking at
/proc/pci, the slot appears to be listed as a realtek card that I had installed a
while back. Any hints?
