I have heard that novell servers are pretty solid, actually; what I
haven't had is good luck with them.

Granted, this was a server doing windows-machine logons and profiles,
and it was maintained by the CIS dept. at school, who are epically inept
sometimes...

They've managed to put together a pretty good AD system to replace it,
though; who knows?

So yeah, YMMV.

And yes, Novell does have a lot of swing; it'll be good to see if it can
provide enough "wow, somebody is taking them seriously" points to get
some real adoption. I just don't want to see a nice distro get mangled
by it.
