Very intersting read if somewhat lengthy. Item number 9 did not make
much sense. Look at item number 16. Perhaps the sequence got changed
with live updates.

My hope is the manufactures of hardware devices that need an o/s in
firmware use a GPL'd offering (not BSD or other non-sharing license),
and see the light regarding development. Methinks Microsoft still exerts
excessive power.
