Greetings all postfix and fetchmail gurus.

First of all, thanks for all the replies to my earlier request for
help on setting up an MTA here at my home and with the Mabel T.
Caverly Senior Center in mind. I appreciated James Zuelow's example
- the headers of his message, and Jim Wadell's message pointing me
to

  http://www.geocities.com/scottlhenderson/spamfilter.html

for specific, step by step, instructions on setting up an email
system. I have not yet digested it to where I can apply it to my
situation.

Secondly, I do seem to have postfix setup properly. I can send email
from mutt, and mutt receives email. My current problem is fetchmail.

Or so I thought. I couldn't get fetchmail to authenticate with the
new pop3 account I created on my domain out in cyber space. So, in
desperation, I re-read the instructions for setting up a client.
There were four choices. I was trying choice 2. I tried choice 1,
and it worked. Ha!

Well, the next task is moving all the old email files to where mutt
can get at them.

Thanks again everyone. fgd. kl7fhx
