I received several responses to my inquiry and would like to thank everyone.
Unfortunately, by looking at my own request, I see I did not express my self
clear enough.
I am interested in a search query for my own website - not a general search
engine. Can someone point me in the direction of some java code or daemon
that queries my own web site?

Thanks, JZ

Google makes available some HTML code so that you can add google
searches to a web page.

They also have other search solutionS, some appear to be free, others
not free.
