Last few days I have been working at getting my Linux Mandrake box to
connect to my Windows 2K domain. I have mixed sucess.
My client seems to authenticate against the domain but I'm still running
into the:
No write access to $HOME directory (/)
KDE is unable to start
I thought I had this fixed! I have tried creating the users home
directory prior to them logging on...nothing. I gave domain users write
access to the home and sub directories...nothing.
I would like to come to the Friday gathering but I'm working tonight.
Anybody have any suggestions on where I should approach this problem from?
In my smb.conf I have:
template homedir = /home/%D/%U
