I'm running Debian Woody. I'm trying to get a USB mouse installed but
it's not working.
Here is what I have so far:
MODULES
Module Size Used by Not tainted
tulip 37184 1
usb-ohci 17472 0 (unused)
usbmouse 1760 0 (unused)
nls_iso8859-1 2880 0 (autoclean)
pcmcia_core 41408 0
hid 18816 0 (unused)
usb-storage 97152 0 (unused)
input 3072 0 [usbmouse hid]
usbcore 48032 1 [usb-ohci usbmouse hid usb-storage]
I have device files for mice in /dev/input and /dev/usb. When I cat the
device file like "/dev/input/mice" or /dev/input/mouse0" it tells me
there is no such device.
As far as I can tell the system is detecting the mouse. The problem is
that I can't access it.
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
