Okay - I figured this would be simple enough, but I'm having trouble
finding a souce for Staroffice 6 in-state. ("In-state" because it's much
more difficult to buy this for work from an out-of-state vendor...)
Also, still have PCs for sale. (The first one had a buyer, but I've
e-mailed twice now and no response, so...) Quick summary:
Minitower systems. K6-2/500, K6-3/450 and Duron 650. All have 128MB RAM
(one SDR DIMM, all have at least two DIMM slots free). Video is AGP in
all, Rage 128 Pro mainly (one has a GF256 in it, but it's hosed, lines on
screen - I'll toss in a replacement ATI card). Integrated sound on the
Duron - Via chipset in it. 8GB drives in two, 13GB in one of the K6's.
Floppy, CD and NIC in each - the NIC is either a 3c590 (10bT) or a Cogent
EM110 10/100 (aka tulip). Debian running happily on all of them, although
X isn't configured, mainly since the monitor I used to set these up is a
19" and I'd hate to configure my refresh for a PC that's leaving... The
g/f wants $200 for the K6-2, I'd like $200 for the K6-3 and $300 for the
Duron
Finally, Mike: since interest in the Proliant has been slow, you
interested in it as a LUG server? Gimme a shout back and we can discuss
it...
