I was wondering if anyone else has seen this before..

All the sudden my Smoothwall box (gpl 1.0 w/ updates) stopped letting me
update my settings through the web interface, like port forwarding, etc.
   I try to add something, and it comes back unchanged, but no error
messages.

If I ssh into it and manually edit the config files, and reboot, it
works fine. File permissions maybe? Although I don't know why it would
suddenly stop working, unless the cron maintainance jobs changed
something they weren't supposed to...?
