Actually what I meant was "grip" not XMMS. Sorry about the confusion I

Mandrake 9.0 I can rip audio CD's recorded in Windows Media Audio format to
MP3 with no problems at all. I could not in SuSE 8.1 I needed a WMA plug-in
for SuSE's XMMS for it to work. I checked XMMS in Mandrake and everything is
the same. Why do you suppose it works in Mandrake and not SuSE? Enquiring
