Subject: Installing Mandrake Security Updates

Over the past two weeks I have periodically been running the "Download
and Install Mandrake Security Updates" app. with no success. I have
tried as root and receive the following error:
"There was an unrecoverable error updating packages information"
I have no idea what the problem is. I try to be current on security
patches and the last time I updated successfully was (I think) about 3-4
weeks ago.
Anyone else running this on their Mandrake 9 box?
