Subject: Help with Openoffice Writer

I am trying to produce a document that looks like this:
1. first line
some information here
2. second line
some more information here
3. third line
even more info here.
However, I would like to use automatica line numbers so that if I delete
line 2, then Line 3 would become line 2.
Anyone already have this figured out?
