I have been flooded with email about moving. Most of it is about my
collection of computer stuff but some of you have talked about the cost of
living. I'm going to be moving in with my brother who shares an apartment
with someone else. If I didn't have that as an option I don't think I could
afford to move down there.

Second, I can't afford to stay here when companies want to pay you $7.50 -
$10.00 an hour to do everything for them. Build the web site, watch the
server, make sure the workstations are working etc...

I work at CostCo for $10 an hour, which goes to $10.25 after my 90 days. I'd
take a pay cut for most of the tech jobs here in Anchorage.

I haven't had a chance to go through all my stuff yet. I want to make sure
it's all working before I sell it to any one. I'll post a list of stuff this
weekend.

Most of the email I got was for the 19" rack and KVM. I'm going to go with
the first email i got and then work my way down the list.

NOTE: I've had some problems with the KVM and mouse. For some reason it
doesn't like Win2k. Not sure if it works with Linux yet. I'll be taking it
to a Friday night meeting to test it. I don't use a mouse with the KVM.
