In an attempt to give some better service to local users, I've cut down
the number of anonymous users allowed on ftp.aklug.org to 5, and have
setup a new user called "aklug".
If you download from ftp.aklug.org, please do not use anonymous ftp, but
login with the following:
username: aklug
password: RedHat8
Needless to say, it would be best if this username and password weren't
given to anyone outside of Alaska. Not like it's THAT big of a deal, but
giving it to non-local folks totally defeats the purpose.
Hopefully this, along with Leif's site, and redhat.uaf.edu will make life
easier for us.
Note that there's already at least one update for RH 8.0!
Mike
