One of the guys that came by our booth represents Network Business
Systems. He was very interested in Linux and impressed by what we had
going on at the IT Expo and made it clear we would be welcome at an
upcoming HP event here in town.

It is Wednesday, Oct 16 at the Hilton Garden Inn at 100 Tudor Rd.

If you attend - the door prize is a IPAQ H3850.

There is more info on there website at www.nbsys.com or their phone at
277-2888.

The flyer he gave me says they will have info on server mgnt, remote
building control, cluster servers, storage, blade servers, and of course
the usual sales pitches. Sound like it could be interesting for those
who can take a day in the middle of the week.

We also had an account manager from Frontier Business Systems come by
very interested, talking about joining the list and possible showing up
at a Fri Lab or two. He says that more and more they are getting
effected by how their hardware (mostly printers) interfaces in the Linux
and Unix worlds.
