I'm one of the two Buttants listed on the Linux Counter. Butte is generally understood to be the area along the Old Glenn between the Knik River bridge near the racetrack (the "Low Butte"), and somewhere around the Maud Road area (the "High Butte"). The area has been booming ever since we got natural gas and DSL. http://buttecc.org runs on SuSE 8.0/Apache/PHP/MySQL.
