I wanted to test my email server and see if it was an open relay. This is
how I did it from a webpage I found. Do the results I got confirm that I am
not open to relaying?

I ssh'd into another email server then issued this command 'telnet
my.domain.com 25' once in, I sent a test message from the remote email
server to mine with this command: 'mail from: user@remotebox.com' this gave
back a 250 ok reply. Then I tried to issue this command: 'rcpt to:
user@somewhereelse.com'. After that I get this reply, 'Relaying denied for
rcpt user@somewhereelse.com'.

So now I believe I am not an open relay, am I
right on this or did i miss something?

Jon
