It is possible to use MTA and linux; I've been doing it for a while=2E Bu=
t
what you've heard is true=2E They don't support linux=2E Can't even pron=
ounce
it=2E

Easiest thing to do is to get ahold of Stan Long and get one of the low en=
d
486/pentium boxes he's got, and install smoothwall or ipcop firewall
between your machine and MTA=2E After that connecting to MTA DSL is
basically getting the right magic words into the right boxes on the ipcop
dialup screen, avoiding a couple of gotchas=2E And hoping that MTA can st=
ay
up while you are doing it=2E When you're ready, give me a shout and we ca=
n
walk thru it, hopefully avoiding the aforementioned gotchas=2E

Need one of the MTA DSL modems? I've got one for sale=2E

Luck,

Lee
