When printing checks from an accounting program, do you really want two
identical checks? Would that defeat a fraud suppression feature?

Should the copy say "COPY" or "DUPLICATE" somewhere on the face?
That might be easier (in small batches) using different paper and two
runs, or two printers with obviously different paper.

I am copying the gnuCash development list <gnucash-devel@gnucash.org>
because they wrestle with similar accounting issues (and do a very
commendable job).

If It's an HP, you should be able to set the copies to 2 on the printer
itself -- other than that, I can't think of any way using linux os --
what
software is it?

We are trying to use a Laser to print checks. Our check stock has the
original check, then a "copy". However, the software we are using
doesn't
like to print two copies of a check.
Assuming I already have Linux printing working....is there a way to have
a
job print each PAGE twice? So I am not really looking for it to print
the
job twice, but each page.

Thanks.

Mike
