Need more info here. You say "these" like we know what you're talking
about. I have a decent amount of experience with spyware/scumware and
using Junkbusters on my Linux box to stop popups network wide. I assume
you're having this problem on a Windows machine.

I suggest you run AdAware as a precaution to see what it find on this box.

Downlaod the proggie and the latest signature file. Install Ad-Aware using
defaults and overwrite the C:\Program Files\Lavasoft Ad-aware\reflist.sig
file with the contents of the signature zip file. Scan. You'll be
surprised at what you find.
